Ohio State University Research on High Linoleic
Safflower Oil and Belly Fat Reduction
According to a recent study by Ohio State University,
a daily dose of high linoleic safflower oil (6.2g
of linoleic acid per day) showed a remarkable reduction
in belly fat. The results went beyond just that of
belly fat reduction as test subjects also showed great
improvements in cholesterol, blood sugar, insulin
sensitivity and inflammation.
Overall abdominal fat dramatically dropped in test
subjects that were given 6.2g of linoleic acid (from
over 8g of safflower oil) for 16 weeks daily with
the test subjects losing significantly more belly
fat when compared to those taking CLA. The highly
regarded crossover study results were obtained without
any modifications to diet or exercise to solely measure
the effects of high linoleic acid intake making the
results even more impressive.
Many supplements available on the market today claim
to help you to lose weight with no real research and
most of them are made up of artificial components
and or central nervous system stimulants that can
have some very negative side effects on the health
of your body. New high linoleic safflower oil is an
exciting breakthrough finding as it is a natural option
that has been clinically proven to dramatically reduce
belly fat. It is important to note that this healthier
option must be in a form that is very high in linoleic
acid (6.2g per day) and should not to be confused
with safflower cooking oil (which does not have the
same belly fat reducing properties) or CLA.
